What do you do when you’re a 16 year old martial artist with too much time on your hands?

You start blogging, that’s what.

I had wanted to start blogging for a while now. Even if I don’t become a super star, or even if I only have 1 dedicated reader, I’ll keep posting. As long as there is one person who wants to read and actually likes what I have to say, I’ll keep posting and find new content to blog about. So that’s that.

How would I describe myself?

How does one describe themselves? I’m 16, 5’4, with shoulder-length brown hair, brown eyes, and caramel skin. I’m a martial artist, a blogger, a student, and a K-Pop lover. I like anime, J-Drama, K-Drama, and both J and K-Pop as well as some Mandarin releases. I work (yes, at a literal job that makes literal money) in hopes of saving up for a car. I like to read and I find drawing and sketching to be both stressful and soothing. I get stressed out easily, which is terrible, because when I get stressed, I get headaches that start at the base of my skull and then spread like painful tendrils until it reaches my temples and settles behind my eyes.

I don’t watch a lot of T.V but I really love The FostersSupernatural, and I really like a lot of South Korean and Japanese programs. I watch a lot of YouTube and listen to music 24/7. I love writing as well, although I often get writers block.

I hate taking pictures. They never come out well.

I use this picture for everything. So far, it’s my best one.

  1. Hi, fellow K-pop fangirl! 🙂

My phone is full with Kpop music, too. But I also listen to Japanese songs (mostly from Anime OST), Chincese songs (try searching for G.E.M. and Jane Zhang..they’re Daebak!) and Thai songs from Thai bands because rock bands are really good in Thailand. But I’m a Filipino. So I know what you feel when people hear my alarm and it’s a foreign song. Sometimes, I get tired of correcting them because they think everything is Korean. Anyway, I’m LSS with songs from Unpretty Rapstar 2 nowadays. 😀

    Will be checking your posts.
    Have a nice day!

    1. Thank you so much! Annyeong fellow fangirl! I see what you mean! I listen to some J-Pop (especially Faky, Faky is the bomb) and I listen to bits of Mandarin music (mostly from EXO-M releases and Luhan and Z.Tao) but I would love to get more into the Mando-Pop scene. Thank you so much for looking at the blog, and thank you so much for liking and commenting! I’ll be sure to check out G.E.M and Jane Zhang. I haven’t yet gotten into Thai music…can you recommend any good ones?

      1. It’s better to start with movies and series in Thailand so you’ll get to used with their words and accent, too. That way, you’ll fell in love with their OSTs in the long run. I suggest you watch The Teacher’s Diary (here’s the international trailer: ) and Hello, Stranger ( ). Since you love Korea, you might like Hello, Stranger coz it’s set in Korea. If you like teen series, watch Hormones The Series ‘coz that’s where I learned about the cool band Bedroom Audio. 😀

        1. Thank you so much! I think there is one that is Thai that I want to start…ah, I can’t remember the name of it, but it is about this girl who wants to be a nun but then becomes the lead singer of a boy band…I think. I’d like to start that one too. Thanks again!

        2. Where do I find to watch Hello Stranger? It looks SO CUTE! It’s like a Thai/K-Drama. I think it looks nice and I’d really like to watch it. Is it a series or a movie. The Teacher’s Diary looks more like a movie, but what about Hello Stranger? I really want to know where to find them!

          1. They’re both movies. I knew you’d like Hello, Stranger because you can relate with the heroine who is a fan of Korean dramas. Haha. I forgot which site I downloaded it. But I know it’s still available online. You can google it. :-!

  2. I think the first thing I really loved about k-pop was the music. Although I can’t understand it, when I read the subtitles (I’m a pro from reading anime subs XD jk) the lyrics are amazing. Also, the eccentric beat just help keep me in a happy mood in a way, just something that brightens up my day. 😉 😛

    1. Lol, I know how it is. “I read really fast.” “Really? What do you read?” “…subtitles.” The live of an anime and K/J-Drama fan. I know what you mean, and the singers are so talented…omfg, it soothes my soul.
