My Favorite Non-Foreign Pop/R&B Songs

I know what you’re thinking. I talk about K-Pop. I sing K-Pop. I dance K-Pop. You know what, it’s safe to say that I live K-Pop. But, unfortunately, my family does not feel the same way. And I had to listen to something before I got into the glorious world of South Korean music. So, to prove this statement, I’ve decided to provide some of my favorite pop songs.

Beyonce – Crazy in Love ft Jay Z

Beyonce – Dance For You

Ah…Beyonce. She’s pretty much known as the Queen of music here in the U.S. Well, she was. She doesn’t release much these days, but I love her older songs. Here are two of my favorites.

The Weeknd – The Hills

The Weeknd – Rolling Stone (Explicit)

His voice is so pretty. It makes up for the fact that U.S.A does not have a Do Kyungsoo or a Park Jimin. You’ve been warned though. His songs are usually explicit. Super. Explicit. Especially Often. Which is a lovely song. Just dirty.

Usher – Climax

Yes, this song is pretty. No, this song is not explicitly about sex.

Drake – Take Care ft Rhianna

I love this song. Out of all the collaborations that they’ve done, this is definitely my favorite.

Alessia Cara – Here

I really love this song. It’s definitely one of my favorites from a current female artist.

Fifth Harmony – Worth It

I shouldn’t like this song. But I do. Which is strange. I don’t like non-foreign bands. It gets old after a while, but if you only listen to it a couple of times at a time, it isn’t bad.

Charlie Puth – Marvin Gaye ft Meghan Trainor

I hated this song at first, but I listened to it again, and again, and I loved it.

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Downtown

Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Same Love ft Mary Lambert

A lot of people dislike Macklemore, but I really enjoy his music. I especially like these two songs.

What are some of your favorites? m
